Acacia modesta, commonly known as the Phulai Tree, is a hardy, drought-tolerant, deciduous tree native to arid and semi-arid regions of South Asia, particularly Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan. This medium-sized tree is well-regarded for its resilience in dry climates, strong wood, and valuable gum exudate (used commercially as gum arabic).
