Acer oblongum is a rare, evergreen maple species native to the Himalayan region, valued for its year-round foliage and refined form. This medium-sized tree reaches a mature height of approximately 15–20 meters and features oblong to lanceolate leaves with smooth margins and a glossy green surface. Its subtle, greenish-yellow flowers appear in racemes during the spring season, followed by typical winged samaras.
