Albizia procera, commonly known as White Siris, Tall Albizia, or Safed Siris, is a fast-growing, deciduous tree native to South and Southeast Asia. This leguminous species is highly valued for its strong timber, shade-giving canopy, and ability to enrich soil through nitrogen fixation. With its broad, airy crown and graceful bipinnate leaves, Albizia procera is an excellent choice for agroforestry, reforestation, erosion control, and multipurpose rural planting.

It is especially well-suited to tropical and subtropical climates, where it can grow in a wide variety of soils—even in degraded or poor conditions.
